Hof’s Bar & Restaurant serve Brakspear cask ales and a full range of draught products.
They also have a good selection of bottled beers as well as a selected list of expertly-served cocktails.
But it is wine which is their speciality. Serving over fifty different wines by the glass or if preferred, by the bottle. They also offer bespoke wine tastings where an in-house wine expert is on hand at the venue’s Wine Hub.
Then there is the Yorkshire pudding and their Sunday roasts if you still have any doubts.
Not the standard offering of sliced cuts of overcooked meat accompanied by steamed veg and lathered in gravy.
A meal described by one guest as a masterpiece of culinary preparation which melts in the mouth, exuding all the subtle herb and spice flavours infused in the tenderest meat during the long slow cooking process. A generous portion with some to take home. Which says it all.
