Skip breakfast if you are going to do a pub lunch at the Red Lion. The portions are generous.
One of the oldest pubs in the country it is a Grade Two listed pub, built in the late 15th, early 16th century at the bottom end of Southamptons High St. The walls are lined with medieval weaponry whilst overhead are original Tudor beams.
They pride themselves on preparing and serving generous portions of traditional pub meals and their Sunday lunches are recommended.

Featuring low ceilings, wooden beams and thick exposed stone walls the Crown Inn is a traditional Cornish pub dating as far back as the twelfth century. Many of the buildings still remain from when it was first built and the original bread oven features prominently in the main bar.
