One of the oldest pubs in the country it is a Grade Two listed pub, built in the late 15th, early 16th century at the bottom end of Southamptons High St. The walls are lined with medieval weaponry whilst overhead are original Tudor beams.
They pride themselves on preparing and serving generous portions of traditional pub meals and their Sunday lunches are recommended.
More than enough for most. Had to ask for a doggie bag after trying the burger
